Trends in Printing – Fall 2025

Patriotic Packaging Printing

Made In Canada is a printing trend that is continuing to build momentum into the autumn.  We have seen an increase in Canadian design elements for both corrugated and plastics manufacturers. Many customers are looking for print dies that show support for local, Canadian business.

Whether helping customers revise their existing print dies to include a Canadian reference, add a flag on bottom flap print, or print new branding that boasts the Maple Leaf, it has been an interesting addition to the work that Royal Graphics does.

One of our customers said it well when describing this surge in patriotic marketing: “Having ‘Made In Canada’ on packaging at every link in the supply chain matters more today than ever before.”  And, because every Royal Graphics print plate is locally made with pride, we couldn’t agree more!

Sustainability Printing

Eco designs are another trend afoot in the packaging industry. While the recycle mark has found a spot on the bottom flaps of boxes for years now, we are seeing the design for this stamp evolve, and for some customers, get larger.  Some polybag manufacturers are looking at designs which speak to the compostable nature of the package.

These are the projects that ignite the passion and skill of Royal Graphics’ design team.  Whether it is improving an existing look or creating a concept, Renée Hall, V.P. Art Department, heads up a team of four expert designers who can help customers get the exact look that they want on their product.
